In a Pre-Budget 2026 Submission, Irish Rural Link is calling on the government to increase investments in Regional and Rural Development across a wide range of areas, including;
rural and regional equity, rural income inadequacy, accessibility to rural healthcare, community education, rural transport services, digital inclusion and continued Broadband roll-out, supports for Just Transition and climate change, community engagement on migration and improvements to migrant accommodation, multi-annual funding for the community and voluntary sector, and supports for agri-environmental schemes.
