- RISE (Rural Innovation & Social Enterprise) PEACEPLUS Project Officers (2)
The RISE (Rural Innovation & Social Enterprise) Project aims to unlock the potential of rural innovation and social enterprise within Northern Ireland and the border counties, and is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The Project Officer will work directly with rural communities and organisations to build capacity, foster innovation, and strengthen the role of social enterprise in sustaining vibrant rural areas.

- MCS (Maximising Community Space) PEACEPLUS Project Officer
The MCS (Maximising Community Space) Project aims to prioritise the building of relationships, creating shared spaces where people can participate & collaborate regardless of cultural background or difference. The project brings together a cross-community multi-stakeholder partnership of Rural Action (LP), Irish Rural Link, and NI Rural Women’s Network, within Northern Ireland and the border counties and is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The candidate will be responsible for building leadership capacity, increasing the participation of women in leadership and governance structures, fostering innovation by the development of inclusive activities that promote shared space and building connections, and working collaboratively on a cross-community/border basis.

- Irish Rural Link Chief Executive Officer
The Executive Board of Irish Rural Link is seeking a CEO who will bring vision, ambition and leadership to guide the organisation into its next chapter of growth and impact. Irish Rural Link works to support rural communities and rural groups in their efforts to tackle social exclusion and promote initiatives that enhance rural Ireland. IRL strives to create an environment where rural communities benefit from the provision of better services and a better standard of living. The work of IRL is rooted in social economy principles and involves a variety of projects and initiatives. Since its establishment in 1991, Irish Rural Link has evolved and grown significantly in response to the challenges faced in rural Ireland. It has become a voice at National and EU level influencing policy and practice on issues of relevance to rural Ireland.
The role’s principal accountabilities include: (i) To reflect the views of IRL rural community members to policy makers at local, regional, national and European policy levels, (ii) Influence local and community development in our changing rural areas, (iii) Collate, support and disseminate models of rural development to all relevant stakeholders, (iv) Develop the organisation and management of IRL in a manner that is inclusive, participatory and sustainable. Amongst other requirements, the candidate will have competencies and a proven track record in leadership and vision, and governance and organisational sustainability.
